"More Enjoy" is a spring-limited event held at "Harvest Hill” in Sakai City, nearby the city of Osaka.

Visitors can enjoy the park and its many colorful flowers until late May! Canola flowers come into full bloom in March and the tulip fields in April. The park also offers attractions and experiences that can be enjoyed with family and friends, such as feeding sheep, capybaras and other animals, a Ferris wheel, an aerial adventure playground, and more!

“Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens & Ropeway” can be accessed via a ropeway that takes you to a 400-meter-high mountain overlooking Kobe City.

“GARDEN FEST,” held from spring through summer, offers a leisurely stroll through gardens blooming with mountain cherry blossoms, tulips, pot marigolds, chamomile, and more! In mid-May, the “Rose Symphony Garden” blooms with approximately 60 varieties of English roses.

You can also enjoy “Herb Marche,” an elegant lunch featuring original herb sausages made with the garden’s herbs. Moreover, “The Search for the Ultimate Fragrance” is an event where essential oils are on display for visitors to experience.

“Fiesta Latina” boasts percussion rhythms and passionate Latin dancing, while the “Bubble Beat Block” offers a show where bubbles are set in time to hip-hop music. These performances throughout the park will surely make you want to groove and dance!

Other highlights include “Universal Wonderland Feel the Rhythm,” enabling you to dance with Universal Wonderland characters, and “Minions Fever Disco Greetings,” where you can take pictures with the minions in their cute disco outfits.

Approximately one million brilliantly blue nemophila bloom at the “Nemophila Festival,” held at “Osaka Maishima Seaside Park” overlooking Osaka Bay.

Only available throughout the Golden Week period, three shades of blue: Osaka Bay’s waters, the blue sky, and nemophila, make for a beautiful view you’ll want to capture on film.

Furthermore, original products, souvenirs, and special menu items such as “nemophila honey,” made from Maishima Sports Island’s flowers, and “Blue Eye,” a nemophila-inspired blue, soft-serve ice cream, will be available.

A nighttime outdoor exhibition centering around nemophila flowers will be held at the permanent exhibition space of the international art collective “teamLab,” incorporating the latest technology at the Nagai Botanical Garden in Osaka.

At the exhibit, “Life is Flickering Light Floating in the Dark – Nemophila,” the brightness of the flowers intensifies as one approaches in time with a melody. Here you can enjoy a mystical experience of darkness, blue nemophila flowers, and lighting.

The “Beef Fest,” a beef-centered event, will be held in Nagai Park in Higashi-Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City.

In addition to popular cuts such as beef tongue and skirt steak, here you can enjoy a range of Japanese brand-name beef such as Japanese Black beef, Matsusaka beef, and Saga beef!

This year’s lineup includes the “grilled Matsusaka beef steak in a rich sea urchin soy sauce” and “seared Japanese Black beef sushi,” as well as casual eats like the “miso-marinated Japanese Black beef offal,” beef dumplings, and beef kebabs. There’s also a selection of domestic and international craft beers that go perfectly with these meats!

Launched in 2015, “FOOD SONIC” is one of the largest gastronomic festivals in the Kansai region. This year marks the first time the event will be held during Golden Week in four years. Here you’ll find food stalls from hard-to-book restaurants that typically require a long wait in line.

In past years, more than 30 famous restaurants that offer varying cuisines, including Japanese, Western/Chinese, Italian, and ramen, have participated, attracting the attention of many major foodies.

Other highlights at the event include magic shows, live music, and a performance using the kendama, a traditional Japanese wooden skill toy.

The “Aoi Festival" is held at Kamo Goso Shrine (Shimogamo Shrine) and Kamo Betsurai Shrine (Kamigamo Shrine). The festival is said to have a history of more than 1,500 years and is one of the "three major festivals in Kyoto." A ceremony called "Zengi" is held in early May before the main festival begins.

The festival's highlight is the roadside procession, in which participants dress in Heian costumes said to have been worn by people of noble birth, along an approximately eight-kilometer path. The traditional garb and makeup used is a rarity in present-day Japan, offering a unique cultural experience.

The goshoguruma, a carriage pulled by oxen decorated with gorgeous wisteria flowers, and furyugasa, umbrellas decorated with peonies, irises, and other flowers, are also noteworthy symbols used in the procession.
